As much as I love forums, they have unfortunately become something of a relic of a more civilised age, thanks in part due to the rise of social media. So with that and a few other reasons in mind I will be putting the old forums into carbon freeze for the foreseeable future. What about the forum content?
I will be setting everything to read only, so it can still be referred to but you will no longer be able to be post new topics or replies. This is partly due to the rise of spambots which have become increasingly difficult to keep on top of.
What about the rest of the site?
I am on refreshing the rest of the site soon, and focussing on the Star Wars Timeline, which has been a feature of the site since 2003. Perhaps in the future if there is enough interest I might find a way to post news articles again also.
