Billie Lourd confirms she isn't young Leia

Carrie Fisher's daughter has killed the The Force Awakens rumor involving a flashback scene of Leia.

Billy Lourd has revealed during an interview with ET Online that her appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens is not as a young Princess Leia in a flashback scene as has been previously rumored, a news snippet that has since been repeated by Carrie Fisher herself.

During the interview, which was to promote new television show Scream Queens, Lourd stated that although the rumors were false she is still involved in the movie. This may mean that her appearance in The Force Awakens is a much more minor role than thought, as she declined to give further details on her character.
