Disney movie executives are so unhappy with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story that they have reportedly ordered a four-week long session of reshoots this July in order to improve the upcoming spin-off film following poor screen testing.
The rumors were revealed to Page Six, who have previously been quite reliable. Sources claim that Disney bosses were not satisfied with director Gareth Edwards' first cut of Rogue One and are splashing out on the expensive reshoots as they try to resolve the "crisis".
Fans were on the whole pleased with the first Rogue One trailer that landed a few months ago, but the film seems to not live up to the hype in it's current state. Whether this report is exaggerated, as movies do often reshoot scenes after filming has ended, or whether Edwards has fallen short of producing a top quality movie remains to be seen.
Rogue One is due out on 16 December 2016.
