chozen 1 Posted February 14, 2003 Now i personally hated remnant a terrible sequel to destinys way. How many people also disliked the book. Dont feel that you owe it to star wars to like every book. What do you think?
Princess 35 Posted February 14, 2003 Chozen are you from the SW.com MB? The name looks familiar.

Andy 60 Posted February 14, 2003 I just finished Remnant. I thought it was a good addition to the NJO. All those shockers!
GI_Admiral 2 Posted February 14, 2003 I liked Remnant too...I could see why some wouldnt though
CorSec 5 Posted February 14, 2003 Yeah..wasnt a whole lot of good action for me..I simply needed more..I found DW to be a better read...of course it is SW..so it does rock anyway
Andy 60 Posted February 14, 2003 DW was a damn good read, although a lot of people weren't satisfied with that...
Admiral Daala 0 Posted February 14, 2003 DW and Remnat were wonderful books.
Andy 60 Posted February 14, 2003 I got a theory, so someone should come along and disproove it... The people who don't like the book because there isn't enough action must be people who don't read many books. I liked it, but I can get into a book very easily, in my head it's being played out like a movie as I read it. I sometimes enjoy novelizations better than the movie! (that was the case with Jurassic Park, anyway)
Admiral Daala 0 Posted February 14, 2003 I agree with you Beeurd. Wow never thought I would say that!

GI_Admiral 2 Posted February 15, 2003 I agree with you too.
CorSec 5 Posted February 15, 2003 I disagree Beeurd  just ebcasue I want to...oh and because I do read books and a lot of them. I just found FH to be unlike other NJO books so far. It just didnt cut it somehow..I still cant truly place it. The Action really wasnt the whole thing. Action doesnt make a book.
Andy 60 Posted February 15, 2003 Maybe because really it's only one third of a book?

TheUnknown 39 Posted February 15, 2003 I'm not done with Remnant, so I'll only say that I really like it so far. As for DW, I thought it was disappointing. In my opinion, fourth worst behind AoC:HT, AoC:JE, and BP.
