It would completely settle the debt the team has incurred since is inception, and dismal failure as an NHL franchise. All this because bettman and the owners don't like him. Idiots. James the Defender 7 Posted September 10, 2009 Yes, I am a Packers fan, and, yes, I do legitimately believe they are a Super Bowl contender. I do believe they are not the best team in the league. The best teams are in the AFC...that being said, I think the Steelers are the best team in the League, but they are going to underestimate the Packers, or they are just not going to be the best team that night. But listening to what experts say is generally a bad idea in my book. It's like taking everything ESPN says as gospel. For example, how long have they been defending Favre in the ridiculous career choices he's been making? And then three weeks ago they change their tune and start taking trash about him. I think that the champs this year are, like you said, going to be the team that comes out of the blocks hot. There's some radio dude here in Pittsburgh that's predicting that the Steelers are going to go 16-0 and I almost choked on my soda when I heard that. There isn't going to be another team doing that for a long time to come.
