Uncle Du 22 Posted April 4, 2010 Mara: Prolly not gonna happen. Ender: REALLY not gonna happen. Du: They still have a chance What were we talking about there? ala Denver Broncos? Yea, I said "teams". Thanks. ;)
Princess 35 Posted April 5, 2010 Teams making the playoffs. Pronger should have so been penalized under the new head shot rule today. He was trying to take people's heads off with his stick
James the Defender 7 Posted April 5, 2010 ala Denver Broncos? Yea, I said "teams". Thanks. It's what I do. The Eagles have traded McNabb to the Redskins, so Adam Schefter reports
Master Hayes 1 Posted April 5, 2010 Yeah, I saw that in an AP story citing ESPN as it's source. Kinda dumb of the Eagles to send him to a division rival though, I'm sure he'll stomp them twice next season.
James the Defender 7 Posted April 5, 2010 (edited) I'm sure, as well. The Eagles are banking on Kolb being Aaron Rodgers. I think Kolb will lead them to a winning season, but he won't be the next Aaron Rodgers. He won't have a monster first two seasons, but he has a decent team around him, so I tip my hat to him, and living in an area of Eagles fans, I shall get to see Kevin every Sunday. I'm excited for him. And so, I'm here watching the Phillies lead the Nationals 11-1 in the bottom of the seventh. Placido Palanco hit a grand slam in the top of said inning. I was whooping and hollering...and laughing...it has officially become--as they say in baseball--a laugher. Edited April 5, 2010 by James the Defender
Mara 29 Posted April 5, 2010 Polanco... *cry* And Granderson got a HR for the Yankees last night. *double cry* And DU, my team has the opposite problem. They always do 10 times better in the second half than in the first. I'm sick of it. Our second half record is 22-13-3, so, yeah. On an optimistic note, I am proud of them. By the way the beginning of the season was shaping up, I was thinking they'd end up way worse than where they are now. On to next season, and BASEBALL!! GO TIGERS!! Ender 8 Posted April 9, 2010 Islanders need a goalie. Bad. Ah well, maybe the Orioles will be better this year... *snort*

James the Defender 7 Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) They've blacked out the Phillies' game for the SIXERS! The Sixers suck!!!!!! They're out of playoff contention, the attendance is poor, and the ratings are low. On a radio show the other day, the host was asking now that McNabb is out of Philly, who should be the next sports personality, or player, or whatever to leave the town. Many people said the entire Sixers franchise should be dumped. They're blacking out a Phillies' game for this franshise almost no one cares about?!?!?!?!?!?!?!  Edited April 11, 2010 by James the Defender

Mara 29 Posted April 12, 2010 It's the beginning of baseball season. Baseball will get blacked out right now for basketball and hockey because those seasons are ending. The Pistons' season ended months ago. I want to watch the Tigers. Flyers got in! w00t! But I hope the Phillies' games aren't blacked out for Flyers games. Mara 29 Posted April 13, 2010 I'm just glad we get FSD Plus now, so even if the stupid Wings are taking up the main FSD, I can see the Tigers. IF they're not replaced by the Pistons. So far, it's been fine, though, with all these 1:00 games.
Master Hayes 1 Posted April 14, 2010 You know I like baseball too, but I can't believe my fellow puck heads are blowing off the Stanley Cup playoffs. That's the best time for hockey!!
