Andy 60 Posted March 20, 2003  Arghness! I just found out that the place my dad works at is on a list of the top 15 possible terrorist targets. I should have thought of it before, really... It's BAE Systems, the build and test rockets and propellants... It's only about 5 miles from where I live, and is less than a mile from where I work :-? Drake 53 Posted March 21, 2003 Ouch Beeurd. I hope nothing happens. Heh...I was watching something in history class the other day about the first Gulf War. They were showing a clip from one of those little cruise missile cameras. The missile was flying along towards a bridge (it's target) and after a little while you could see an enemy troop standing on the bridge. As the missile got closer you could tell that it would hit right where the troop was standing. At the last moment the guy turns around, throws up his arms and screams...the missile was so close you could see the guy's facial expression right before he went poof. Andy 60 Posted March 21, 2003 Rumour is going around that Saddam has been killed already. Currently a group of B52 Bombers is on it's way to Iraq. They are due any time now, as they launched from RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, UK from 10 - 11.15 am GMT
chozen 1 Posted March 21, 2003 Yes, i believe that is true. 14 soldiers have been killed in an Helecopter accident... 1 US troop was killed in conflict...
Andy 60 Posted March 21, 2003 Grigor McClelland, founder of the Community Foundation has returned his CBE he was awarded in 1994, in protest of the war in Iraq. He said that he no longer wants to be a Commander of the British Empire, when they engage in "a breach of international law".
Andy 60 Posted March 21, 2003 Oh and I heard about a city in Iraq that was taken by the coalition forces and the Iraqi flag was lowered, and replaced with the flag of the USA. Moments later, the troops were ordered to remove their national flag.

Link 3 Posted March 21, 2003 Ok inside view from the United States Air Force. We've been told here that we've lost a Marine in combat, the troops on the helicopter, and Sadaam is NOT dead. He was merely injured when we bombed. He is alive and well despite a few minor injuries. The US is impending upon Baghdad right now however, fire will not be launched until evening in the United States. We've taken in yet another band of Iraqi soldiers who surrendered.
