TheUnknown 39 Posted May 18, 2003 Truth be told, I didn't think it was that good of a book. It's not as bad as, say, the Agents of Chaos series, but not as good as SBS, the EoV series, or even Remnant. I thought it rehashed basically everything in Remnant: Leia and Han go to a planet where they get the cold shoulder and everyone's acting suspiciously. It turns out, they have a secret alliance that ends up screwing them over. Mara and Luke go to a region where they're not liked and have to battle stalwarts of the old ways (with the help of a more open-minded contingent) and Jacen saves the day. Tahiri goes insane. Nom Anor plots. It did have a great ending, a big surprise (which I'm not sure can work considering what has been said), and the Anor and Tahiri storylines (which didn't get enough time). And I don't like how they're dragging the search for Zanoma Sekot out for three books. It's taking too long. And I also don't like how the whole series seems like a side-story, away from the main action. Didn't the Knightfall trilogy get cancelled because it did this? I think someone said they are Yhuzzan Vong...but I dont think they are... I think they just made a deal with them, and then had some YV in ooglith masks to pretend to be Ssi Ruuk.
