I believe that there are aliens somewhere out there... but we wont discover them until 2552, when the Covenant invade our colonies and the events of Halo take place... ;)

Or we could wait a little less time...when most of us may still be alive, to April 5, 2063 when humans first develop faster-than-light propulsion and Earth makes first contact with the Vulcans...

We'd have to go through WWIII first, though.

I made a mistake with the whole Drake equation dealy. I said that the estimate for other civilizations in our galaxy was 10....it's really 10 000. Makes the odds a little better. :p
