TheUnknown 39 Posted June 14, 2005 (edited) Alexander said: Old news. Quote is like Terminator, the first movie was good and well-thought, but the sequels basically became mindless action movies. Terminator 2 was hardly mindless action, it had more emotion than the first. I think the third might apply to your logic though. T2 was good, but it did contradict the first one. Nothing else was supposed to go back after the originally Terminator and Kyle. Edited April 21, 2018 by Mara
Chickenman 9 Posted June 14, 2005 Jurasic Park 1 was awesome. 2...Eh...3...I've read the kiddie novelezation of, but I've yet to see the movie.
Andy 60 Posted June 14, 2005 No, it didn't contradict. The parts left behind by the Terminator in the crusher, that ended up in Cyberyne in T2 were what led to the first one coming back. Besides, due to the time travel issue, the Terminator from T2 (and T3 for that matter) could have been sent back before the one from T1. In fact, in T1 they say it was a last-chance attempt by the machines to kill Sarah Connor. So T1 is technically the last in the series, with T3 being the first. Which is kinda weird. T3 did have major contradictions though (such as the age of John Connor): Buuut this is a Jurasspic Park thread. :p
starwarsperson 0 Posted June 16, 2005 Oh man, "Jurassic Park 4"!? I'm sorry, I thought this was "Jurassic Park", not "the Never Ending Story". I hope they just do better on this one.

I'm sure when they make "James Bond #89" James will go into an embassy and forget why he went in there.
Ayingel 24 Posted July 4, 2005 heh...now that would be funny..and what happens to all those "bond girls" any way...do they find out about each other? that'd be a good bond movie "revenge of the girls."

Mara 29 Posted July 18, 2008 Sometimes I wonder if it's even gonna be done. IMDB says they're still working on a script, but it's slated for a 2009 release date. :p
Andy 60 Posted July 19, 2008 IMDB is useless for anything that you can't find anywhere else anyway. :p
Mara 29 Posted July 19, 2008 Oh, I know. But at the time, I didn't find anywhere else.

Winters 0 Posted February 13, 2009 Heavens above... I'm glad. As a fan of the Jurassic Park series (both books and movies), I'm glad because a fourth movie would have been a downturn, a forced sequal is worse than no sequal at all.
Chickenman 9 Posted February 13, 2009 yeah. like bond. he NEVER dies. I'm sure when they make "James Bond #89" James will go into an embassy and forget why he went in there. Ohmigod. He predicted the beginning of Casino Royale!

Mara 29 Posted February 13, 2009 I just found it. But, yeah, the article is a few months old. And, I do agree that it's a good thing they canceled it. I personally thought it was over after the first movie. Or at least the second one. The third was just gratuitous.
Andy 60 Posted February 16, 2009 I wish they'd go back in time and cancel JP/// :p
