Andy 60 Posted April 27, 2008 (edited) So, after a month of my new job, I have gotten bored of all the supermarkets sandwich range already. Therefore I am making an effort to make my own awesome sandwiches for work. And I WILL make AWESOME sandwiches. My one today was fairly average though: Sliced chicken, medium cheddar, lettuce, onion, cucumber, mayonnaise, pepper (as in the condiment). I plan to get more adventurous though... lol The cafe at work seems to do really random ones... which are abit expensive and not very nice. lol Anyone got any ideas or had a truly awesome (cold) sandwich sometime though? Mara 29 Posted April 28, 2008 I'm partial to simple, lol. Croissant with turkey pastrami and ham and either mozzarella or provolone cheese. Maybe some green peppers, lettuce and honey mustard. Yums.
Link 3 Posted July 18, 2009 Um, so since most of us are citizens of Po'ville, thought we could share some relatively inexpensive recipes that don't take much time/effort/money.... and I don't mean ramen or instant rice.
Ender 8 Posted July 18, 2009 One of my favorites is to take a filet of salmon and marinate it for three hours in soy sauce, a whole lemon, and two tablespoons of garlic. Crack a whole bunch of pepper on top once it's done marinating, and broil for 20 minutes. You can get salmon relatively inexpensively at Trader Joe's.
