I freaking hate electronics!!!!! I took a practice ASVAB and scored a 63%...mostly due to my knowledge of math and electrical formulas/equations. I missed one question in the General Sciences category, none in Word Knowledge, and roughly 3 in each of the other areas. But the Electronics Information and Mathematics Knowledge were my downfall.

And studying the electric formulas/charts make my brain turn to jello.

Where did you take it at? And gimme a sec, I'm gonna link you to some study stuff. Just stick with it.

If you study this, take notes! Writing stuff down will help you retain the information better. If I still have my old notebooks from my electronics classes, I'll bring em up to NY with me.

In HS when I studied, for the Regents exams for instance, I got a lower score then if I didn't. I found that when I did best on tests, it was when I jotted down key elements of what I was reading/listening to and just storing it...the more I try to pound something into my head the more it seems I forget it quickly.

Edit: I've been taking random ones at whatever sites I can find that let me. That's a nice site you linked, but really the only thing I'm having trouble with are the equations in finding the voltage, amperage, etc etc of a circuit, That's where my math skills lack, too. I can do the mathematics, I just hate formulas lol.

So, over the past week the lab has been reserved 7 times for 6 different groups (one group had two days). Of those 6 groups, only 2 have bothered to show up. One group I can kinda forgive as they lost their transportation last minute, but if they really wanted to get there, we have the bus system and someone probably had a personal vehicle they could use. Another group did call to cancel, but no one got the message until half and hour after they were supposed to have been there. Yesterday's group apparently forgot they had a reservation (again, didn't find out until 30 minutes after the fact), and today's group lost their spot after no one showed for 45 minutes. An e-mail has been sent to the branch manager to see what to do about this. My vote is a deposit they get back if they show up. If not, we keep their money. Won't happen, but it's a nice idea.
