Why bother asking my opinion if you're just going to:

1. Do it anyway

2. Convince me that I'm wrong

3. Make me feel like crap for feeling that way

You do not wake up an hour before we're supposed to leave to get you to a training thing for work and tell me that you don't have the supplies you were told you needed when we had ALL AFTERNOON AND LAST NIGHT TO GET ALL OF THIS TAKEN CARE OF. No excuses. You're going.

You know I've got like 20 rants saved up from dealing with my family, but now that I'm out of Nashville... it just doesn't seem like it's that big a deal.

Of course you do. You will soon realize that you can't stand being more than three hours away from me at any given point in time. The sadness will consume you. :p

And me. :(

Well hopefully the sadness will consume me before the snow does! I'll try to come down before winter but I KNOW I'll be down in december.

I know how I came to my conclusion, and I (not wanting to) know how you came to you conclusion. Do not yell at me and explain to me how I came to my conclusion.

Are your rants all focused on the same person?

I really really don't like it in New York so far. I'm stressed out and tired and I had another seizure last night and I really just want to curl up in a real bed and cry. I'm trying to keep a happy face up but I just want to go home. I started smoking again at my mom's and all I want to do is keep drinking until it doesn't matter any more. I'm trying to tell myself that it's going to be ok and I just have to get everything unpacked and set up and get it a little more like home but I just don't care. It's dusty and hot and the stairs are killing my knees. My roommates aren't very helpful by cluing me into laws like which side of the road I'm allowed to park on which days and I'm just so ewoking done.

Why did I think this was a good idea?

Give it a bit of time to settle in. This is a similar experience that many people go through. People leaving home for college/uni are major ones. My friend who lives in Brazil came up here for a couple years. At first, he missed his family but, after a little while, he made new friends up here and found his place. My advise would be to get out as often as you can and meet people. Don't hole yourself up in your own misery.

I've never been good at making friends. I'll try it, but right now I'm trying to NOT become an alcoholic. So ewoking tempting to just get a bottle of booze and drink until I pass out.

I don't even miss my family, I've had huge issues with them and its why I moved so ewoking far away from home. I just can't find a damn thing that's worth it right now.

Sorry for glooming and dooming

Kia, moving to a new place away from everyone you know is hard. Just take a deep breath and you can do this. You're in totally new circumstances and it's going to take some getting used to.

Yeah, like I can afford to upgrade to a PS3. And Gamestop won't do anything unless I trade it in. Which is a real riot because they'll maybe give me 5 bucks for it and if it's fixable turn around and sell it for $50. I'm doing some work for my grandmother later. She pays well, but now I have to decide between getting a new PS2 or putting that money in the car fund.

Well, looks like Rob got it working. Hooray! Now I just need to get a new KH2 disk which is much cheaper.

The dog knocked it over and then the disk wouldn't play right. And then something else must have been knocked loose because then it wouldn't turn on at all. Rob got the player working again, but the disk is still jacked. I've buffed the heck out of it and it still won't play.
