I have a dilemma. I sent in an application to Job A basically for kicks. But if it worked out, it would be a nice part-time position away from the library until a job opened up I could apply my degree to. Then, we got word that Job B, a Nuc job, might be opening up in a few weeks. WOO! I'll be dropping off my resume in the morning.

Now, I was not expecting a call from Job A. Ever. And frankly, it is my opinion that the company is very poorly run and inefficient to boot from a customer standpoint. I've also applied there before and they didn't seem the least bit interested in me. Even the employees have said to be patient as it can take HR MONTHS to call potential recruits. I'd pretty much forgotten about my application there until I got a call from them this afternoon.

So now I'm in a pickle concerning my availability for either job as well as my current job. Especially since I just sent in my summer availability to the library I and would hate to turn around and tell my bosses I'm handing in my two weeks' notice. If I get offered both jobs, I know which one I'll take, but if I get Job A and not Job B, I don't want to run out on Job A as soon as another Nuc job opens up (which I expect them to later in the summer and early fall). There's really no reason I can't take both jobs as Job B is every other weekend and call and Job A would be part-time first shift. And we could definitely use the extra cash. Hmmmm.

Well if you want to go for both, you should.

But when it comes to turning around and giving notice to take a better job that you really want, and that could go somewhere, you shouldn't be afraid to do that. You wouldn't be the first person to do that, and there's nothing wrong with it. I'm waiting for a call for a job that I don't really want, but I have to do something. And believe me, if I get the call from the company that I really wanna work for a week later, I'll definitely quit and go there. It's all about being happy with your decision and where that will lead in your life.

At least, that's how I see it. :)

So I almost called the police on a reckless driver this morning. I was leaving work and driving home and this car passes me and I see the passenger putting makeup on and then realize that the driver is putting makeup on as well. Eyelash curlers and all. So later on, I pass the car and see that the passenger is LEANING OVER and holding the steering wheel so that the driver could finish her makeup. Then they passed me again later and still had the mirrors open on the visors!

I called the police on a reckless driver once, but it was taking so long I eventually just gave up and hung up while I was on hold. They could have been out of the county the time it took. lol

What kind of idiot makes a candle with dried flowers that go all the way to the bottom and a wick that goes just as far down. My room was just at risk as I left the candle for a bit and it caught on fire. Now I have burnt fingers and a foot

When are Apple going to make a version of iTunes that actually ewoking works properly?

I NEVER install the latest version of iTunes straight away because I know it's going to ewok up... AS USUAL.

This time is no different.

Now it won't open, and it won't let me reinstall, because apparently the required resource is on a network device that is unavailble??? WTF?

Sorted it evenutally... only took AN HOUR AND A HALF.

I actually like iTunes itself... it's just that updates/installations never seem to function properly.

iTunes is really intuitive in the way that it organizes your music. Seems to be a lot more efficient.

I agree. When you've got over 3,000 songs, organization is key. Music is probably the only thing I am organized about. Because it's the only thing that matters. ;)

What's that?

I'm pretty sure that it's some sort of access to the bloodstream because I see it as a source at times for draws on the NICU kids.

And I'll be more careful. Du you want to inspect the burns?
