Beeurd- Yes you're right...adoption is the 3rd choice. And nothing is wrong with adoption, I support adoption and I wish that all adoption agencies are getting all the money they need to support the children.

Alright now back to the argument:

Our problem here is that we're generalizing...which is why this subject is touchy. This isn't about murder where 1 group can say "Its wrong" and the other can say "Its right". Some people, for example the girl in Bushy's example who was happy to keep her child, she was glad she didn't have abortion. But I know there are people who would be fine ((not saying happy...killing your own child is traumatic)) and better off ((economically wise not mentally in some cases)) if they did abort. And everyone is different. Two girls might get raped. One might abort, and continue on with her life, the other might keep the child and be perfectly fine with her baby. Ending is the same, both are happy. BUT same thing might happen. One aborts and is miserable for killing her child. Other keeps the child and spend the rest of her life struggling trying to get enough food to keep that child AND herself from starving to death.

All in All...We can't say without generalizing. That is why abortion is so contaversial because there are too many sides to look at because each person is unique. Which is why I say it's the mothers choice. I dont know the mother, I dont know her situation, I dont know her background, her status anything at all...why should I be making a desicion about her and HER CHILD.

Ah, but failing to provide all medical attention available to save the life of the mother is murder. I know this sounds cold, but when they find out that there is something lifethreatening wrong with the pregnancy, the fetus would not be old enough to survive, and if a doctor failed to give all options to the mother, then they can be sued for malpractice, and so on

Yes. Withholding medical treatment in such cases is definitely bona fide murder.

The mom can refuse treatment, of course....

I can't imagine any woman agreeing to die for a 2 week old zygote that will die right when she does though. It's already a miscarriage. *shrugs*
