CorSec 5 Posted October 31, 2004 For those who haven't seen it: http://store.warnervideo.com/whv.product.a...pc=085393367121 Though the news is certainly old....I hadn't seen it. They had it pasted all over teh official site too. Aha...I knew I held out on buying all three of the Matrixes for a reason. (Though I admit to buying the Animatrix, which is also included in the set) What peaks my interest, is a version of Reloaded, beefed up with Enter the Matrix live-action footage. As much as the game sucked, putting Niobe and Ghost into a real role in the movie can only be a good thing. Check out the promotional trailer on the official site if you'd like. Essentially, it's a collection of footage, with a short listing of all ten of the DVDs and their purpose at the end: http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/
Tsl 7 Posted October 31, 2004 GAH! Now I have to rebuy everything
Andy 60 Posted October 31, 2004 I won't rebuy it. it sucked enough the first time I bought it. Only the first movie was any good, IMO.
CorSec 5 Posted October 31, 2004 But..but...CG effects. Leet action scenes. A complete lack of tangeable plot! It's perfect beeurd. PERFECT. :p
Andy 60 Posted October 31, 2004 Nah, special effects are only a bonus. Story is everything. That's why Final Fantasy VII is still the most awesome game ever, dispite the fact that the characters have square bodies and are full of polygon tears. :p

Drake 53 Posted October 31, 2004 Halo has plot. So do the Matrix sequels. The only reason that people say otherwise is because they don't get it. Those are the people who need story lines spoon fed to them. Well, here's a news flash for ya....there is no spoon! :p

GI_Admiral 2 Posted November 1, 2004 Drake, Halo has a basic plot. Matrix has no plot, its a bunch of religious allegories with special effects.
Drake 53 Posted November 1, 2004 And, how many times have you played Halo exactly?
Tsl 7 Posted November 1, 2004 Drake, Halo has a basic plot. Matrix has no plot, its a bunch of religious allegories with special effects. Matrix has a very involved, super-conveluded plot. It just went over your head :p
GI_Admiral 2 Posted November 1, 2004 Hahaha....Save the human race!!! then they just add religious references to it. Sure they did a good job with the religious references and with the special effects, but you cant let those cover up the lack of plot....There were no plot twists whatsoever.... Alexander 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Matrix failed to evolve on th efirst movie. It wasn't meant to. I think the director's even believe it was over with the first, but the studio wanted to rape fans out of all their money.
CorSec 5 Posted November 2, 2004 Over our heads. bs. There was nothing different. It was the first movie. With less explanation. And more cg. moo
