So yeah, I think GI knows the most about TCGs so he can do all the work lol, anywyas. i'd like to include (somehow) places liek Rogue's Cantina, Psycho HQ. and things like ourselves, obviously. and maybe things like Blue Lomins (which turns any player into a n00b! ) lol, but my knowledge of how TCGs work is very limited. :p Edited September 10, 2005 by beeurd Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
GI_Admiral 2 Posted December 24, 2004 (edited) Card types (Names should be GB-ized too): Mana[Threads] - Should be locations, like "Blue Oasis" or "Word Association" etc. Instant/Sorcery[insanity/Craziness]* - Should be action type things like "Posting Spree" or "Furday posted a new PW!" or "Admin Abuse!"** things like that. They can either do damage to other player, Affect characters (whether its temporarily improving/harming, killing, etc...), basically anything really. Enchantment[Confusion] - Should be an object type thing. Such as "Prodding stick" or "Prins Clothes machine" or "Blue Lomin". They stay on the board unless/until destroyed (by a disenchant card***). Characters - w00t! This is us. GI, Beeurd, Echo, anybody you want, can even be Pod's pets and thigns like that. Each get an attack and a defend****. * - They're the same, except instants can be played on your turn OR their turn. Sorceries can be played on your turn only. ** - "OMG WTF HAX!?!" is our counterspell card. That means if you play it (it's an instant) the card that your opponent just played (Whether its a character, enchantment, or instant/sorcery) goes to the graveyard. *** - We need a disenchant card... **** - When you attack, you declare your attackers, your opponent then chooses which of his characters defends against your attackers. So for example: You have: GI (5 attack/5 defend) and Beeurd (3 attack/2 defend) Opponent has: Prin (2 attack/1 defend), Ender (0 attack/1 defend) and Drake (4 attack/1 defend). You attack with GI and Beeurd. Your opponent decides to block GI with Drake and Ender, and Beeurd with Prin. So... Beeurd (3/2) vs Prin (2/1) Beeurds attack is greater than Prins defend SO Prin dies Prins attack is equal to Beeurds defend SO Beeurd dies Both characters go to graveyard and opponent takes 0 damage. GI (5/5) vs Ender (0/1) and Drake (4/1) GIs attack is greater than Enders defend + Drakes defend SO both Drake and Ender die Enders attack + Drakes attack is less than GI's defend SO GI lives GI lives, Ender and Drake go to graveyard opponent takes 0 damage. However, If GI had Trample ((Need to think of GB equivalent)) then Since GI's attack is greater than Drakes defend + Enders defend GI still deal GI's attack minus Drakes defend + Enders defend (so a total of 3 damage) to opponent. NAMES: Trample: Modsmack Disenchant: Admin Abuse! Counterspell: OMG WTF HAX!?!
