Mara 29 Posted September 25, 2007 HS reunion already? It's been 5 years. like I said... already? We always have 5-year reunions here. Which is probably why it's just at a bar downtown, lol. Nothing fancy.
TheUnknown 39 Posted September 25, 2007 Yeah, my five year reunion is coming up next year, if it happens. Most of us haven't moved that far yet, but considering I might be leaving for grad school the year after, I would like to meet with everyone again. It would be nice to see who's married, who's graduated, who has kids, who's come out, etc. And considering we've already lost one member of our graduating class... Mara 29 Posted September 26, 2007 Yeah, so did we... But my high school has a seasonal newsletter they send out, so if they send in their info, I know that some are married, some with kids. I think a decent amount are in the area yet, but quite a few are elsewhere.

Mara 29 Posted September 28, 2007 Yeah, but I only play because I like the trivia. I don't care about my level.
Drake 53 Posted September 28, 2007 Same. Plus, I play when I'm bored. Which happens to be a lot. I enjoy the challenging questions that have me searching through the depths of Wookieepedia. Then there's the asshat questions that show up in ten different versions...like, what colour is Mace Windu's lightsaber? Gee...

Then there's the asshat questions that show up in ten different versions...like, what colour is Mace Windu's lightsaber? Gee... Agreed. Or the stupid ones that don't have to do with Star Wars at all. I like reporting those. Pfft. I don't use Wookieepedia at all. I just guess if I don't know. I feel I learn more that way. In fact, I don't think I need to play KOTOR or KOTOR 2 anymore, after all those questions.
Drake 53 Posted September 28, 2007 Yeah, no kidding. :p
Mara 29 Posted September 28, 2007 I had some question yesterday asking something about Padme and tampons. Or those questions were people ask "Is this stupid?" And every answer is "yes." Gosh.
Drake 53 Posted September 28, 2007 Or even the ones that are fine, intelligent questions but in the answer options, two of the four are the exact same so you have to pick one and hope it's the right one of the two.
Mara 29 Posted September 28, 2007 Yeah... But I don't think it matters which one you pick. On that Padme one, all the answers were "liver." I picked one and got points. So either I was just lucky or it doesn't matter as long as you get one the same as the right answer. *shrug* But, yeah, I am sick of some of those that I get over and over. And I'm on sick of people whining on the Jedi Council board about there being EU questions.
Drake 53 Posted September 28, 2007 Sith board is the same. And when you create your own questions, there's only one field where you can put in the right answer, then three for the wrong options.
TheUnknown 39 Posted September 28, 2007 One of my questions which asks which planet didn't have a star map in KOTOR was reported for not being pertinent and included the comment "what kind of question is this?" idiot.

You guys have a different wall for the Knowledge questions? Didn't know that. I have a question about how many moons Tatooine has... and I mistakenly (my fault) put 2 as the answer, as the answer is 3. And lots of people reported to me with Wookieepedia links. I knew it was wrong and changed it. Then I got reports saying the answer was 2. Gosh. Tatooine: 3 moons, 2 suns. I just deleted it and reposted it, now it doesn't have any reports, and I get points for all 10 of my questions.
Mara 29 Posted September 29, 2007 Oh, my gosh, there's loonies on here now talking about how the writers should bring Anakin Solo back. *bangs head*

Mara 29 Posted September 29, 2007 Heh. Ugh. They think if Jacen brings back Anakin, Anakin will bright him back to the light side. Come on.
