Chickenman 9 Posted July 20, 2009 I've been waiting for Funny People since before everyone knew what it was.
Chickenman 9 Posted July 20, 2009 It really appeals to me as an extremely amateur comedian. Especially Seth Rogen's character, who's still trying to find his voice.
Drake 53 Posted July 21, 2009 I'm looking forward to District 9.
Chickenman 9 Posted August 7, 2009 I saw an article today saying that Ridley Scott is going to make an Alien prequel. Hell. Yes.
Ender 8 Posted August 8, 2009 And suddenly, all the employees of the fake blood and stage explosives industries burst in raucous cheering...
Bad furday 57 Posted August 10, 2009 I really, really want to see Where the Wild Things Are.... http://io9.com/5333549/where-the-wild-thin...ll-make-you-cry But I'm worried that it'll make me cry in public ;)
Mara 29 Posted August 24, 2009 (edited) Toy Story and Toy Story 2 double feature in 3-D. I am SO going! Also, Informant! with Matt Damon looks pretty hilarious. And Bright Star, but I'm just a poetry geek. Oh, and Jim Carrey as Scrooge! Edited August 24, 2009 by Mara
James the Defender 7 Posted August 24, 2009 Star Wars Ep. 7 Though that will never happen :(
James the Defender 7 Posted August 25, 2009 Eh? :???:
Ender 8 Posted August 25, 2009 1. The books and games have already more than covered the non-canonical events. 2. Did you notice how the last three turned out?
James the Defender 7 Posted August 25, 2009 I liked the prequels...well, for the most part Ep. II was pretty bad. TPM was pretty good, I thought...though no one beside Liam Neeson could act... RotS was great, I thought (beside the acting, of course.)
Mara 29 Posted August 25, 2009 It better not. Seconded. I am quite content with books and TV shows.
James the Defender 7 Posted August 26, 2009 (edited) Yeah, I guess so, but to see it is still spectacular. No matter how good of a picture memory you have it's still awesome to see, on the big screen, "A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far Far Away..." "STAR WARS" (do-do-do-doo-doo-do-do-do-doo-do-do-do-do-doo-do...do-do-do-doooooooo." :p Edited August 26, 2009 by James the Defender
Andy 60 Posted August 26, 2009 (edited) I liked the prequels, I just don't think there needs to be any sequels. Lucas already stated that he has no story past the defeat of the Emperor and death of Vader. Anyways, on topic: Resident Evil: Afterlife (if it is still happening) Jurassic Park 4 (if only to cry at how Universal keep ruining the franchise) Iron Man 2 (haven't heard anything about this for a while...) X-Men Origins: Magneto (is this still in production?) Dark Knight sequel (only been hinted at as far as I know) Star Trek 2009 sequel (let's face it... It's going to happen) Warcraft (I want more info though, Blizzard are too secretive...) Edited August 26, 2009 by Andy
Mara 29 Posted August 26, 2009 (edited) Uhh, Beeurdy, wasn't the JP4 movie scrapped? Unless you have heard something different more recently? The other day I did some Googling on the Dark Knight sequel/Batman 3, and couldn't find anything definitive. It does sound like it might be a go, but I couldn't find anything solid on whether or not Nolan would be doing it (apparently he might be busy). I did see the Resident Evil one and Iron Man 2 over here, obviously a few pages ahead when I was surfing through it. Also, it seems Spider-Man 4 is on its third writer/re-write. Not good. Andy 60 Posted August 27, 2009 JP4 isn't scrapped... but it's not in production. Universal haven't finished with the franchise yet; in fact they licensed a brand new line of Jurassic Park toys for 2009. I do realise a new film is definitely not going to come any time soon, though.
Drake 53 Posted August 27, 2009 They've cast Megan Fox for the role of Catwoman in the next Batman film. All I have to say to that is... *drool* :p
TheUnknown 39 Posted August 27, 2009 I would like to see the NJO brought to the big screen, but that's such an undertaking that it would be very difficult.
Drake 53 Posted August 27, 2009 Maybe a TV miniseries or even a cartoon/CG series would be cool too.
Bad furday 57 Posted August 27, 2009 Megan Fox in leather that looks like it's been painted on... *drool* And... Dark Knight sequel...The Villians Escape Arkham Asylum to Buy Batman Throat Lozenges! :p

They've cast Megan Fox for the role of Catwoman in the next Batman film. All I have to say to that is... *drool* Again, source? Just sounds like one of the dozens of rumors flying around. Last I saw, they hadn't even worked on a script yet. Doubt they would be casting already.
