Homer Simpson's DOH on Ep1?

Just an observation but did anyone else notice that in Episode 1, during the scene on Naboo where Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan battle the droids to rescue the Queen - Qui Gon force pushes a droid down and you can hear briefly Homer Simpson saying "D'OH!"

Try playing that scene and see if you can catch that.

Lucasfilm likes to hide inside jokes in their movies.

For example, it is rumored that one of the ateroids in Episode V is actually a potato.

In episode II, an asteroid is one of those cow things from naboo.

In Episode VI, one of the Tie Fighters is supposedly made from a tennis shoe.

However, sometimes fans imagine things that arn't there. I've seen that scene a million times and have never heard a homer d'oh.

Yes, it has been confirmed. I said "rumored" because some believe it's been cut, because they wasted thier sad, pathetic lives looking for it. Therefore, while it's confirmed that it was used in production, it is only a rumor that the potato made it into the final cut.

it sounds kind of like a robotic squeaky d'oh, I think of it more as a engyo sound (phonetically, of course).

Some on told me to listen for someone on Home One in RotJ right before the Executor takes its plunge ... I forgot exactly what it was but I think a background yells out an explicative phrase. You might still be able to hear it if you watch it a couple times. And in the end celebration the Coruscant street rioters sound as though they are chanting "son of sons" or "son of suns."

At the end of ANH, when Luke jumps down from his x-wing and is all excited because he got a lucky shot (), he call's out "Carrie!" instead of Leia.

Ehh, I'm undecided on that one. LucasFilm and StarWars.com say he doesn't. Mark Hamil himself says he doesn't... But he does say something that sounds like it could possibly be "Carrie" but maybe not. Hmm... It's not very clear anyway, whatever he says.

Gungans are the worst thing to happen to Star Wars. I'd rather have a movie with all Ewoks (well we did, two of them) than a movie with one Gungan.
