Maul was killed by young Obi Vader killed a wisened, older, more skileld Obi Maul was killed after taking on a Jedi Master (whom he killed) AND a very skilled Padawan two-on-two. Vader didn't exactly take out the Jedi Order on his own. Judging from the trailor, he had the help of droids and stormtroopers. Plus, you have to remember that Vader got his ass handed to him by Dooku. Second, Obi-Wan sacrificed himself to Vader to buy Luke, et al time. Third, look at how stiff Vader is in a duel.
