Brumak 2 Posted December 26, 2005 (edited) We don't really have a graduation here, and HS finishes at 16... w00t! Hah...I knew a 23 year old that finally graduated high school. I THINK that's what you're talking about...I didn't feel like reading back to check O_o Maybe I should check posts more often so I can reply to things quicker o_O Edit* Ok...Wrong quote. Lmao. I graduated at 18 and 3 months'ish. One of my friends was 19 when he graduated.. and another was still 17. there we go. TheUnknown 39 Posted January 19, 2006 Mickey's class schedule sounds painful. And I got screwed this semester. I have: two six page book reviews on modern European history, an eight page paper on modern Chinese history, a presentation on some media topic, and i think eleven tests which are entirely or partly short answer/essay. Mara 29 Posted January 19, 2006 I have to buy over 20 books.. :/
GI_Admiral 2 Posted January 19, 2006 Gonna be around 400-500$ on books >.<
Sticks 1 Posted January 19, 2006 Buy 'em online. I spent half as much as I usually do... Although half.com ewoked up, now I'm out $100...closed that damn bank account today and opened a new one at a different bank. I'm tired of this sith. So basically, don't buy anything with a debit card online :D
Andy 60 Posted January 19, 2006 So basically, don't buy anything with a debit card online lol I always buy like everything with my debit card online. Never had any trouble.
Mara 29 Posted January 19, 2006 I only have debit.. but my dad already has a ebay/half.com account so he buys me my books with his credit card.

Ana 15 Posted January 20, 2006 It helps if you give yourself a minimum on your debit, like $100. If you can't go below that, then you don't overdraw. Using my school's online bookstore, my books would have cost roughly $437 dollars. Using Amazon, I got the same damn books for $167.
Mara 29 Posted January 20, 2006 Books are such a racket. Especially when a new edition is exactly the same as the old one, but just because it's a new edition, they add on $15 for every time they made a new one.
Tsl 7 Posted January 21, 2006 You should never ever buy with a debit online, because you have no protection, whereas regular credit cards have laws in place to protect you.
SoftballJedi 0 Posted January 23, 2006 Yay! I start Gym on Tuesday! Wow, I'm happy about it. I also start Health. Fun I haven't been near a D in Pre-Algebra all year. Or even a C! It's amazing, seeing as I should've been in Standard Basic Math.

And when I say "good morning," at least acknowledge me. I have your credit card number, your address, your room number, and your phone number. oooooh cool you work in a hotel!!! would you recomend it? im thinking of that as a job lol i say hello to people who work in hotels when they say something lol ...anyway ... im in high school and im failing everything!! horay for that!! TheUnknown 39 Posted January 24, 2006 Well, I got fired from the hotel. It really pisses me off considering I went in when they asked me to, trained people, worked shifts when I didn't want to and they fire me because I said I wasn't sure if i could handle the busiest shift (that day even busier than usual) by myself when they normally had someone else working then too. bithes. To answer your question, other than that, it wasn't that bad. It was clean, no worrying about food service. Most of the guest were pretty good. There are some, however, who are assholes. These are the people that gripe about not having a king room (Your fat ass can fit in a double bed. And if you wanted a king you should have RESERVED it instead of said double bed). Then there are those who have some insane dislike of handicapped rooms. But those were a minority. And if you work the morning shift, you won't have to deal with many guests at all. Can they do that? Look it up. Over here you could take them to a tribunal for unfair dismissal.
