Drake 53 Posted October 3, 2005 Season 5 spoilers ahead... I watched and all I have to say is...WOW. The season 4 finale made it seem like S5 was going to be a little corney but that wasn't the case at all. And it was just like watching Superman 2...with the Fortress of Solitude at the beginning and the Disciples of Zod and the window prison. Too fun. And for those who are into the Superman legend, that was Brainiac, intergalactic supergenius supervillian, at the very end of the episode. Brainiac is played by James Marsters...aka Spike from Buffy and Angel. Perfect casting, I think. Upcoming spoilers/rumours: ~ Dean Cain (Superman from Lois & Clarke) might be guest starring in a three-episode arc in which he plays a billionaire who falls in love with Lois. I personally think that he could be playing Bruce Wayne in this role. The description fits. ~ Aquaman will be appearing in an episode or two. ~ Carrie Fisher will be appearing in an episode as the editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet. ~ Tom Wopat will be guest starring as a senator and friend of Jonathan Kent. For those who don't know, Tom played Luke Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard (series not movie). Apparently there's going to be a 1969 Dodge Charger involved in a chase scene and they're gonna jump it.
