Mara 29 Posted December 30, 2009 Same here... I need to listen to their other albums.
Chickenman 9 Posted December 31, 2009 This is hilarious. Turn both speakers on or put on headphones. One nickelback song plays in each ear and they sound exactly the same. This is how you remind me someday
Ender 8 Posted December 31, 2009 Billboard just named them the best rock band of the decade.
Sticks 1 Posted December 31, 2009 No way. Nickelback doesn't even come close to the best :/
Ender 8 Posted December 31, 2009 Obviously. Which is concrete proof why Billboard doesn't matter anymore.
Uncle Du 22 Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) They matter to the people that can't make up their own opinion about music. I like Nickelback and all, but I noticed that had started recycling their music on their second album. That's what happens when you sign a contract for 5 albums in a year. (yea, it's an exaggeration) Edited December 31, 2009 by Du
Chickenman 9 Posted December 31, 2009 Just, there's been some sithtastic music this decade, but there's also been some absolute great stuff. And to name a bland, cookie-cutter band like Nickelback the band of the decade...
Mara 29 Posted December 31, 2009 What did Billboard base that on, anyway? Votes of 14 year old girls?
Chickenman 9 Posted January 1, 2010 What did Billboard base that on, anyway? Votes of 14 year old girls? Well, I'd assume they'd base it on the Billboard charts. Their mainstream singles chart that is the industry standard. But that's just a guess. And since lowest common denominator bands like NIckelback and Coldplay and The Black Eyed Peas rule the Billboard 100 chart, it's not uncorrect. Just sad. Uncle Du 22 Posted January 1, 2010 Yep. That's what keeps good artists from being discovered.
Sticks 1 Posted January 4, 2010 I used to use Billboard to get ideas of what songs to download. Not anymore.
James the Defender 7 Posted April 27, 2010 Star Fox: Assault has the most epic music EVER for a video game!
Andy 60 Posted July 7, 2011 It's funny how listening to Gustav Holst's Mars, Bringer of War makes me feel like I just listened to the whole Star Wars soundtrack in less than 10 minutes..
James the Defender 7 Posted April 26, 2012 I really don't like a lot of Linkin Park's new music, especially on the album "A Thousand Suns." I don't like the new style and I don't like the choice they made to use bad language. However, the new single from the upcoming album "Living Things" is amazing! It's called "Burn it Down." Incredible song! I hope the rest of the album is just like it.
Princess 35 Posted February 15, 2013 Best concert of my life last night. Maroon 5. I was disappointed in Neon Trees as an opening act though
