Pandora 77 Posted March 8, 2008 *laughs* Aww, look. She's pretending to be scary. Isn't that cute? *glares at Drake* I would bite you, but that would require me to touch you with my mouth. I finished The Tale of the Body Thief the other day, which REALLY could have been titled, "Well it seemed like a good idea at the time..." because that was the running theme of the novel, lol. Started Memnoch the Devil. It promises to be a real creep-show, considering the fearless main character is scared out of his gorgeous little mind... and pissed off about it! lol. Pandora 77 Posted March 17, 2008 Okay, Memnoch wasn't as creepy as I thought it was going to be, but still pretty good. If you plan to read the Vampire Chronicles, make sure you read them in order, and don't read Memnoch before you read The Vampire Armand, or the ending of Memnoch won't be as sad. The constant of Anne Rice's books is that she constantly questions faith and truth and what's-accepted-as-being. Today I started Pandora, written by guess who? It's told in first person from the vampire Pandora's point of view. I read the entire first chapter this morning. It was 33 pages of Pandora agreeing to write her story for David. It was a little tough to get through, but a 2000-year-long story condensed into a few hundred pages can't be too bad....
Jake Durron 23 Posted March 17, 2008 I must try to read them again... I'm sorry but I was forced to watch the movie and everytime I try to start interview I get an image of "pretty" boy tom... GAG ME I'm re-reading the anita blake books at work... lol... currently back on obsidian butterfly.
Pandora 77 Posted March 17, 2008 Tom Cruise was blasphemously revolting for that role. And Queen of the Damned was just an all around travesty! The only saving graces of that "film" was the music and Stuart Townsend is fun to look at.
