Princess 35 Posted April 23, 2008 I'm starting The Harlequin by Laurell K Hamilton so that I'll be ready when Blood Noir comes out on my birthday
Pandora 77 Posted April 30, 2008 I've been moving slowly lately. Got kinda busy. I finished Merrick today (by Anne Rice, of course). It's not a really exciting book except for a very violent and heart-breaking encounter with a very angry ghost. Like with Pandora it's really not one intended to hook a new reader. But it's really a sweet story that makes you love the characters even more.

CorSec 5 Posted April 30, 2008 Of the novels I read for Lit 110 last symmester, Heart of Darkness was definitely not my favourite. Very dense. I read it in one sitting before the exam.
Mara 29 Posted April 30, 2008 Sons and Lovers by D.H. Lawrence. I'm pissed the Dune book I want to read is only in audio book form in my ENTIRE library system. Blows.

Princess 35 Posted May 3, 2008 Funny that you talk about Shatterpoint JM cuz I just lent that and Rule of Two to my brother to read. He doesn't read much, but he read Darth Bane in 6 days and wanted more. Me, I just started A kiss of Shadow the first book in the Merry Gentry series

Pandora 77 Posted May 18, 2008 After I finished Merrick, I went on to The Feast of All Saints by Anne Rice. I gave up on it within two chapters because it read kinda like Dickens. So I switched over to The Mummy, or Ramses the Damned, by (you'll never guess) Anne Rice. It's got me hooked already... I am just waiting for this mummy to start moving of his own volition....!
