Princess 35 Posted October 10, 2008 I found it to be a slow read, but I'm finding out that all of his books are so
Mara 29 Posted October 10, 2008 Yeah, it's a bit slow, but it probably is just because I'm not as interested in the characters as I usually am. But there is still enough there to keep me on to finish it.

Mara 29 Posted October 13, 2008 Antigone and the Medea by Sophocles and Euripides respectively. For my classical Lit class. Great reads. I'm reading The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Took me a while to get into the swing of the writing style and stuff, but I'm enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing what the film does with it.

Chickenman 9 Posted November 4, 2008 "Belushi" It's a great oral biography of John Belushi, as told by the people whose lives he touched during his tragically short time on Earth. The book really shows what a larger than life guy he was. Not in that he was a crazy out of control drug fiend, but he was just this incredibly warm, loveable guy who was truly unique and treated his friends at the most important thing in his life. Did he abuse drugs, leading to a tragic death? Yeah, and it's fully detailed in here, but the biggest thing you take away is just what a wonderful human being he was. And it's damned funny too. Andy 60 Posted November 30, 2008 "The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams One of the funniest books I've ever read, and I've only just begun. Have you ever seen the TV series? It's pretty awesome. Way better than the lame film the made a few years back.
