What book are you reading right now?

No, but I'd kinda like to, though at the same time, I think I'd prefer the book. Leaves more to the imagination.

Ah. I've only seen the movie, and I loved it. (It's on DVD on Tues.) May have read the poem way back when in school, but I don't remember which of Keats I've read and which I've not, haha.

Reading The Endless Forest by Sara Donati.

I'm sad, 'cause it's supposed to be the last of the series.

Just finished Let The Great World Spin by Colum McCann. One of the single best books I have ever read, it's an amazing portrait of New York City in the 70's.

Now, on to read The Plague by Albert Camus again.

.....since when?

And maybe I'm remembering wrong, but Brennan's like 15 years older than Ryan.

Anyone read the Wicked series by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie? Story's good, but the writing is horrible...jumps around waaaayyy too much, which makes it hard to follow at times. Also rushes the story quite frequently. Just finished the second book, and even though I'm not at all impressed with it, I have to read the others cuz I hate not finishing a series. Guess I should have expected crappy writing...it is a teen/young adult book afterall (though I've read many great young adult books)

I loooovvveeee Dexter! Just finished Wicked 2...now I'm on to Wicked: Resurrection...by the same author I was ranting about earlier...her writing has gotten a little bit better as the books progress, but still not great.

Not very far in Superfreakenomics...heh, I have too many books going right now. Also reading a book about the Taliban, but that's my "work book," meaning I break it open whenever I have downtime at work and another lieutenant is hogging the computer :p

Yup, the book was good. I was surprised how close the TV show kept to it (for the 3-4 episodes I have seen :p).

Now I'm reading The Dead Guy Interviews: Conversations with 45 of the Most Accomplished, Notorious, and Deceased Personalities in History by Michael Stusser.

Came across it last year, titled seemed interesting. Should be a good one.

George Lucas's Blockbusting: A Decade-by-Decade Survey of Timeless Movies Including Untold Secrets of Their Financial and Cultural Success - Alan Ben Bock and Lucy Autrey Wilson

Kind of reads like a textbook (and it's over 900 pages), but it's super interesting.

A little bit. :p

But I love it. I'm already past page 700 in just over a week. (Up to the 1990s, whoo!)

There's so much I'm learning about the film industry in general.

Plus, all their stats are in 2005 equivalent $s, so that means Star Wars (IV) is the second most grossing film of all time, behind Gone with the Wind. (Suck that, Titanic).

If only it had come out a few years ago so my prof. could have used it for my film class. :p
