Piercing 0 Posted March 20, 2008 oh I haven't read that one yet, is it good Mara? I'm Seth By the Way. The Hot Zone is what I am currently reading, but I'm too tired to check whom the author is.
Mara 29 Posted March 20, 2008 Hey, welcome aboard! Um, I'm only halfway through, and to be honest, it's boring so far. But, then again, most of the series is..
Piercing 0 Posted March 20, 2008 Hmm that's what I have heard from some of my friends. I was hoping that this series would continue the tradition of the New Jedi Order series but it appears that this is not the case. It took me forever and a day to get through the first book and I don't remember half of what I read it was so incredibly boring. So what would you rather be reading, Mara? I just got into this sort of "wilderness" series by Sara Donati. I want to get to the second book... after I finish this one, plus two others for my library book club. And I'd liked to read the Dune prequels by Frank's son. And lots of others.
Rebel_Ghost 0 Posted March 20, 2008 I'm reading Revelation right now. There is some good quotes out of it. I liked it.

I wish I had that much time to read. I decided to pick up the Mists of Avalon due to my grandmother's insistence that I get a more feminine view on the world. Its actually quite good. Though I must say I think I would rather be reading Shel Silverstein again.

hhawk 0 Posted March 28, 2008 THe Summons BY JOHN GRISHAM He writes amazing books! I reccomend them to anyone! They are very actionish! They are really cool!
Pandora 77 Posted March 28, 2008 I finished Pandora today. It wasn't too bad. It was kinda slow except for about 150 pages in the middle. I reccommended it to Winters becuase there's a lot of focus on social issues in ancient Rome. But for anyone else brand new to Anne Rice's world... it's not a good way to get hooked. If you are going to start reading them, start with The Vampire Lestat (NOT Interview with the Vampire!!!!)
