Andy 60 Posted March 10, 2008 The movie didn't even really follow the storyline. That's SO unlike a film adaptation! :p
Winters 0 Posted March 10, 2008 The Other Bolyn Girl Good acting (How can you not get good acting out of Natalie Portman..., Star Wars not included?), BAD plot, BAD editing, BAD directing, good art direction.

Rouge77 0 Posted March 18, 2008 Jumper. Not bad, but lacking in ambition. Hayden was like right out of AoC.
Pandora 77 Posted March 18, 2008 no, she works at a Hollywood Video store and brings home new releases before they're "technically" released. They still have actual physical movie rental places?! Dude.... Blockbuster rocks.
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted March 18, 2008 no, she works at a Hollywood Video store and brings home new releases before they're "technically" released. They still have actual physical movie rental places?! yup. although only the bigger stores are managing to stay in business. there have been a few smaller Hollywood Videos closing in the past few months. Pandora 77 Posted March 18, 2008 The one across from the mall I work at is. We got a ton of movies for dirt cheap. Including THX 1138 because Marius hadn't seen it before. He picked up a couple obscure-sounding vampire movies we haven't watched yet. Oh well, for a couple bucks it should be decent enough, lol. Unlike the $12 I spent on Queen of the Damned because no friggin Blockbuster in town effing HAS IT!

Mara 29 Posted March 18, 2008 Bah. Family Video. At Blockbuster, you have to almost sell your soul to get a card.
Drake 53 Posted March 18, 2008 I saw Doomsday. I have very little in the way of feelings about it. It was an up-and-down movie with high points and low. A LOT of brutal violence and gore...which was great. Decapitations, excessive viral infection related skin lesions, burning people alive...then the cannibalism of said people, etc. It was a great idea for a movie, but it was just...overdone. There was too much.
Pandora 77 Posted March 18, 2008 that probably should have given you a clue It's true: the movie serves no other purpose than to be a vessel for the soundtrack which is AWESOME. And again, Stuart Townsend is kinda fun to watch run around without a shirt on... even if he is a skinny white boy. Bah. Family Video. At Blockbuster, you have to almost sell your soul to get a card. Um. You need a home and a credit card. Soul is not a requirement.
Drake 53 Posted March 18, 2008 You need a credit card for Blockbuster down there? Well...I guess you people use those things a lot. In Canada, we have debit cards that are easy sauce. For Blockbuster up here, I just need a name and an address and the card was free.
