Mad Wook 0 Posted November 18, 2011 And wasn't it a baseball game? I actually have no idea. I have never been interested. I've got to disagree with you on 30 Days of Night. Granted I didn't watch the whole thing but I thought it was laughable. I thought the ending was very poetic. He had to make a significant sacrifice to save others. Didn't find anything laughable about the end. That reminds me, I can't find my copy of Interview! Sorry to hear that. I had to eventually replace my tape with a disc just to insure future viewing. Ana 15 Posted November 19, 2011 Saw Breaking Dawn: Part I. I laughed my ass off, half the audience cried. It was actually pretty well done, given what they had to work with. Of course, that's like someone admiring the clean scar Tenel Ka's arm removal left. I mean yeah, I imagine a lightsaber does a rather neat job of it, but you've still lost a freakin' arm. Pandora 77 Posted December 14, 2012 Hobbit. Positively stunning. I was really skeptical of it being in 3D, but the accelerated frame rate made it incredible. The pictures was perfectly clear and sharp, even during scenes with really fast camera movement. And really none of that "ooooooh look at us, it's 3D, random crap is flying towards the camera for no good reason" bullsith that drives me crazy about 3D movies. What objects did "come at you" were very subtly done and simply extended the artfulness of the film rather than cheapen it. Totally worth it.
Ayingel 24 Posted December 15, 2012 I just saw the Hobbit in 2D. Two complaints - a little slow to get in to, and the half hour of previews didn't help my being awake since 6 am ness.
