Chickenman 9 Posted July 2, 2008 I think he truly was a good guy in 2000, but South Caroline kinda shattered him, so he started pandering.
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted July 2, 2008 they all pander -_- can we vote for the guy in Prin's video? please?
Chickenman 9 Posted July 2, 2008 The beautiful thing about McCain was that he didn't though. You don't call Jerry Falwell an "agent of intolerance" and then speak at their school. Especially when you're gearing up for an election, and one reason you lost a couple years ago was because you couldn't win over Falwell's crowd. Kinda seems a little suspect. TheUnknown 39 Posted July 2, 2008 You don't call your campaign the "Straight Talk Express" (*barfs*) if you're going to flip flop on so much.
Chickenman 9 Posted July 2, 2008 I hate the term flip flop, both concerning shoes and politics. So apparently someone can't change his mind when in office? Are you kidding me? I'd much rather vote for a man that can change his mind if he sees error in his judgment, than someone who sticks to the same views no matter what. That, and the term is usually used entirely for spin.
TheUnknown 39 Posted July 2, 2008 Changing your mind based on a logical argument that it is the better way is one thing. Changing your mind because it's more politically expedient is another.
Chickenman 9 Posted July 2, 2008 I know. And it's obvious to me he's done the latter. I just hate the phrase and think it's used too much.

TheUnknown 39 Posted July 22, 2008 Yep. I especially like the part with McCain in the tank, then in the retirement home and Obama in the Disney-like forest, riding a unicorn.

Chickenman 9 Posted August 4, 2008 Radio: How will the rest of the world react to McCain as president? Me: Probably speak a little louder? ;)
TheUnknown 39 Posted August 5, 2008  The candidates will be announcing their Vice Presidential nominees soon. It should be interesting.
Chickenman 9 Posted August 5, 2008 (edited) My picks for Vice President: McCain: Bill O'Reilly How it balances the ticket: Makes McCain seem much more liberal in comparison. Thus, he can still pretend to be willing to reach across party lines. Obama: Mark Hammil How it balances the ticket: A New Hope and A Newer Hope! McCain: "Iceman" from Top Gun How it balances the ticket: Every Maverick needs his Iceman. In a pinch, "Goose" will do. Obama: Spiderman How it balances the ticket: It's a no brainer. Spiderman and Captain America on the same ballot? McCain: That Knight from Indian Jones and the Last Crusade How it balances the ticket: Shows that McCain isn't the oldest man alive. Obama: A Puppy How it balances the ticket: I'm not sure which one is more adorable!!! McCain: Rambo (or Chuck Norris in the Missing In Action Movies) How it balances the ticket: Because serving in Vietnam or not appears to be the only way to measure leadership. Obama: An actual Muslim How it balances the ticket: So racist idiots can see the difference. ~Fixed teh evil stretchy screen ~JM Edited August 5, 2008 by Radioactive Isotope
