Ender 8 Posted April 14, 2007 Pachelbel's one of the few classical composers I really got into. Some of his more obscure stuff is really insane.

Pandora 77 Posted June 4, 2007 I totally know how he feels!!! I played the bass clarinet in school. There were times even my ban director referred to me as the "oompa section." That is why the theme from Phantom of the Opera shall always have a special place in my heart. I will never forget the day the girl that played trombone turned around to the rest of us in the "oompa section" and screamed desperately, "COME ON GUYS! WE'VE ACTUALLY GOT THE MELODY SO LET'S MAKE IT GOOD!!!!!!"
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted June 4, 2007 yeah, i played cello 6th - 8th grade and the one song where the cellos got the melody, we never played. good ol' Cello Rondo. *sigh* although in March of the Metronome, we got like, a 4 measure melody. that was sweet.
