TheUnknown 39 Posted June 6, 2007 I need to get Lasik surgery. For one thing, to reduce the costs of eye exams and contacts. Also, near-sightedness gets worse with age.

Ana 15 Posted June 6, 2007 I wear neither and need neither. I credit the fact that back in elementary school I would eat at least five people's carrot sticks every time they served them in the school lunches. I really liked carrots. :p
Bad furday 57 Posted June 6, 2007 And thanks to Bill Nye, I know that Ana got more than her recommended amount of visual purple! :p

Ender 8 Posted June 8, 2007 Contacts. Near-sighted.
Chris/Tauntaun13 0 Posted June 8, 2007 I have near-sightedness, but only on my left eye. The right eye is perfect. So I wear glasses but I can see perfectly without them, it's just a matter of not letting the right eye do all the work. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed is king as they say It would be very easy for me to wear contacts since I would need only one, but I like glasses. Pandora 77 Posted June 11, 2007 I'm nearsighted, terribly, and I wear glasses almost as thick as Furday's. I have a notation on my driver's license that tells authorities to cite me and tow my car if I get caught driving without my glasses, even though I can't even see to stick the key in the ignition without them. My grandmother has tri-focals and my parents both have bifocals. I fear I shall be joining them soon.
