i was farsighted when i was younger, but now i'm nearsighted...and i think i developed asitgmatism in my right eye during the three months i couldn't wear my contacts

I need to get Lasik surgery. For one thing, to reduce the costs of eye exams and contacts. Also, near-sightedness gets worse with age.

I wear neither and need neither. I credit the fact that back in elementary school I would eat at least five people's carrot sticks every time they served them in the school lunches. I really liked carrots. :p

i wear contacts for the most part, but i do have a pair of glasses. like Unknown, i'm nearsighted with an astigmatism, and certifiably blind without glasses or contacts.

I can see okay without my glasses.. it's just distance/words that are farther away that get blurry. But I can function without them.

I have near-sightedness, but only on my left eye. The right eye is perfect. So I wear glasses but I can see perfectly without them, it's just a matter of not letting the right eye do all the work. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed is king as they say It would be very easy for me to wear contacts since I would need only one, but I like glasses.

I'm nearsighted, terribly, and I wear glasses almost as thick as Furday's. I have a notation on my driver's license that tells authorities to cite me and tow my car if I get caught driving without my glasses, even though I can't even see to stick the key in the ignition without them. My grandmother has tri-focals and my parents both have bifocals. I fear I shall be joining them soon.
