Bad furday 57 Posted September 11, 2007 On my way to my dentist appointment today, I read the detour sign wrong and drove up and down Oakdale road, looking for Country Club road that would take me to Hooper Road where my dentist office is. I should have just gone straight ahead in the first place, but the detour arrow was pointing to Oakdale Road, which was incorrect. I also had to pull over to a side street and wait, as it was raining so hard, I couldn't see the road infront of me, and nearly crashed off the road. I ended up being about 40 minutes late, thus they were only able to fix two teeth today and I have to go back next month for the third. I don't want to know if my day can get worse...oh wait, I have to work tonight. Well..."always look on the bright side of life" eh? Drake 53 Posted September 12, 2007 Today, I brought my kitten Largo to the cat clinic for his second round of booster shots. Forked out $60 for that...on top of the couple hundred I spent yesterday on birthday presents! Get this...my sister's birthday is today, my dad's is on Friday, and my girlfriend's is on Saturday! Big spending week for me. *facepalm* Anyway, I'm just doing some last minute laundry right now before I leave for home until Friday, for birthday festivities. Then, on Saturday, we're going to Wonderland for my gf's b-day. A whole pack of our friends will be going with us so it should be a fun day! Uncle Du 22 Posted September 15, 2007 Today has been good. Though when I woke up this morning I felt hungover, and I didn't even drink last night. Went shopping at a the commissary this morning with Kian, against my better judgment. Word of advice: in a big military town, do NOT go shopping at the commissary on a Saturday, the day after pay day. But, I got the shopping done, so that's a plus. And I'm going to a friends house tonight, and we're gonna eat wings, drink some Jack and then burn stuff. Should be a blast.
