Mara 29 Posted September 8, 2007 Okay, so I've noticed this... probably because of the new skin... But clicking on the quote button, does nothing. But clicking on the reply of a post will automatically quote that post. Are there some wires crossed or something? Or is it normal?
Drake 53 Posted September 8, 2007 It's normal. You were just using the crappy old version. It's mostly for the multi-quote function. Just click on as many quote buttons as you want to quote then hit Reply. Doesn't work with Fast Reply, though.
Mara 29 Posted September 8, 2007 'Tis crazy... But I'll get used to it, I suppose.
Andy 60 Posted September 8, 2007 Yeah i might change the quote button is for the multi-quote. is to quote that post only.
Mara 29 Posted September 8, 2007 Yeah.. would make sense for the multi-quote to say "multi-quote" and the quote to say "quote."
Andy 60 Posted September 8, 2007 Yeah well you try fitting "multi-quote" in that button :p
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted September 8, 2007 try "M-Quote" :p
Mara 29 Posted September 8, 2007 It fit on the old button. Could you add a third button?

Ayingel 24 Posted September 24, 2007 The quote button won't work for me. I'm using Firefox, and I've even tried selecting the text I want to quote...
Andy 60 Posted September 24, 2007 (edited) The quote button won't work for me. I'm using Firefox, and I've even tried selecting the text I want to quote... Press the button instead... OR press and then press the button at the bottom. (merging this with the other quote button thread) Edited September 24, 2007 by Andy
CorSec 5 Posted September 24, 2007 It was confusing at first, but ultimately it helps with multi-quoting.
