Andy 60 Posted June 11, 2009 (edited) So, the leader of the British Racis--sorry, I mean the British National Party tried to hold a press conference outside Parliament the other day... And got egged by a mob of angry protesters. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8091605.stm I hear he wasn't too impressed about being pelted with eggs... Apparently they didn't separate the whites first. On a more serious note, I'm not quite sure I see the logic behind organising a mob to stage a violent protest against fascism. :???: Edited June 11, 2009 by Andy
Uncle Du 22 Posted June 11, 2009 I hear he wasn't too impressed about being pelted with eggs... Apparently they didn't separate the whites first. On a more serious note, I'm not quite sure I see the logic behind organising a mob to stage a violent protest against fascism. Has anyone ever been able to explain why humans act the way they do? Uncle Du 22 Posted June 11, 2009 Wow, that's pretty interesting. Of course, because he's Canadian, Americans will scoff at the notion that he could be correct. :p

Princess 35 Posted June 12, 2009 But there are differences in insurances in Canada and the US. In the US, not everyone has insurance and the ER has to treat anyone who comes in
Chickenman 9 Posted June 12, 2009 Or at least try to claim it as their own invention. We proudly let you guys keep the patent for concentration camps. Smoove mooth there. :p
Andy 60 Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) Just because we called them concentration camps first doesn't mean we invented them. I think you'll find the US used them in the 1830s to imprison native Americans. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that the British concentration camps weren't made to kill people, unlike Mr Hitler's later version. Drake 53 Posted June 13, 2009 They were to help people concentrate.
Chickenman 9 Posted June 13, 2009 As I've learned it, concentration camps were first used during the Zulu War, which was led by Baden Powell, the guy who would later found Boy Scouts. And we called them "reservations." :p
Andy 60 Posted June 13, 2009 (edited) Zulu War was after the time I mentioned. I don't know if it has a name lol, I presume it does. Aaaanyhow...
