Mara 29 Posted June 30, 2008 It would only be historical as far as making sure we're in the culture, i.e. clothing, weapons, etc. of that era. Not much focus on actual historical figures and such. Mara 29 Posted July 12, 2008 (edited) I do think I have something in mind, but.... another idea came to me. I was thinking if I maybe loosely based if off of this story I wrote a looooooong time ago? I mean, it would be different characters and all... and, yes, it's almost a copy of the Odyssey. Otherwise, I was just gonna go with inventing my own city/province in Greece, most likely, and then we'd just create characters--I'd designate one or two people to play gods, the rest would be mere mortals/half mortals--and have various Xena/Hercules adventures. Mara 29 Posted July 15, 2008 (edited) Thanks. : ) Wrote it when I was a freshman in high school, so it's a little rough, lol. But, yeah... I know. Basing it off my story was a longshot idea anyway. Plus, we'd have more freedom in something new. Unless I just make it like, a generation or two after the events in "Journey."
