Drake 53 Posted May 18, 2008 So I'm going to Florida mid-June and it looks like I'm getting there right in time for the Star Wars weekends! Sadly, I'm just going to be missing the weekend with David Prowse and Peter Mayhew *sigh*...but I'll be able to see Amy Allen (Aayla Secura, yum yum!). Also there will be the guy who does the voice of General Grievous and Warwick Davis will be hosting all 4 weekends. Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted May 21, 2008 i actually managed to hit a Star Wars weekend in Orlando the last time i went to Disney World. see if they do the Star Wars "Who Wants to be a Millionare," Drake. that was really fun. oh, and see how many characters you can get pics with. if it's similar to when i went, the Jawas will trade stuff with you. Drake 53 Posted June 22, 2008 Went to the SW Weekend today! If I had more time there, I would have tried to hit up all the characters for pictures. I got shots with Vader, Boba Fett, Kit Fisto and Anakin Skywalker and then just pictures of the rest alone. They didn't have the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire however, I got to see a talk-show hosted by Warwick Davis. He was interviewing and doing an audience Q&A with the guest celebs (Amy Allen and Matthew Wood). That was fun. The pre-show was hilarious. Four Stormtroopers entertained the audience with jokes and funny skits. I was wishing I had a video camera. Even better was the sneak preview of the Clone Wars movie coming in August and an interview (by Warwick again) with a guy from ILM. There was also a guest appearance by Ahsoka Tano, Anakin's padawan learner. The girl dressed like the character who was outside for pictures all day, came on stage and twirled her lightsaber around for a bit. She was pretty good too, lol. Sadly, I didn't get to see Amy Allen. Well, I saw her from afar and took pictures. I didn't get tickets for an autograph early enough. Ah well, there's always next time...eventually. The line to get the FastPass tickets start at 8:30am at the front gate. That's why I missed out on Amy Allen. The tickets ran out at 9:30, lol. I DID get pictures of her though.
