The new movie is set to be released in 2009, along with another Origins movie. The actor, who has played the mutant in three X-Men movies, said he was enjoying exploring the character further in spinoff X-Men Origins: Wolverine. And there's still a lot of years to cover. He has incredible regenerative ability, and we've seen that as a cause for immortality in other things like Heroes, where Takezo Kensei is about 500 years old or more.
