Winters 0 Posted June 16, 2008 Well, from my friend at work, he said that 1080p is going out soon, they're working on 1440p right now... so you gotta get Blu-Ray... because I gotta see the bleeding pores on Toby McGuire when he pulls off the mask in Spider-Man 3 (and I don't even have a Blu-Ray player, my family deems it unnecessary...) Mara 29 Posted June 16, 2008 Just regular DVDs are fine for me. As long as they're widescreen.
Andy 60 Posted June 17, 2008 One of my mates is buying up HD-DVDs cos the price has plummeted. I'm like, "what happens when your HD-DVD player breaks down and you can't get a new one?"
Mara 29 Posted June 17, 2008 Or your VCR is indirectly hit by lightning and it takes forever to find a replacement machine. :p
Andy 60 Posted June 18, 2008 I think in a couple of years time it will be easier to find a VCR than a HD-DVD player. Mainly because there are bajillions of VCRs out there. lol
CorSec 5 Posted June 25, 2008 DVD's are fine. Blu hurts my wallet.
Winters 0 Posted June 27, 2008 What do you expect? You have to pay more so that way you don't have the "e".
