Drake 53 Posted July 30, 2008 I was surprised I couldn't find one of these threads already. Yeah, so, Potter films....go!

Andy 60 Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) Doubleposter! BAD DRAKE. Ooh, trailery goodness. I want it NOW! Oh, and everybody, make sure you use the spoiler tags in here, because the books are a lot more complete than the films, and not everyone has read them all yet. :) Edited July 30, 2008 by beeurd
Drake 53 Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) Well, I have the description as "may contain spoilers" which I can change to "definately contains spoilers". Also, these are about the movies, not the books. Book discussion should take place only in here. Edited July 30, 2008 by Drake
Andy 60 Posted July 31, 2008 Yeah but people are likely to forget and get carried away, and ruin the entire plot for a film :p
CorSec 5 Posted August 3, 2008 If you haven't been spoiled that Snape Kills Dumbledore by now, then you aren't reading the same Internet that I am.
Andy 60 Posted August 3, 2008 I don't read Harry Potter spoilers. And I'm not reading that one. :p
CorSec 5 Posted August 4, 2008 Well thats the thing, its not localized to 'spoiler' websites. Take for instance, the WoW General Forums, minutes after this book was released. It was if thousands of geeks cried out, and then were silenced.
Chickenman 9 Posted August 4, 2008 I think they just logged off. :p
Jake Durron 23 Posted August 22, 2008 So having Deathly Hallows in two parts is awesome, so they don't miss out on any of the story line...... but they already have cut our more than half of what led up to it so I kinda don't see the point. I ewoking hate the movies because they're inaccurate and butchered... but I love a few of the actors so I compromise and watch on mute.
Andy 60 Posted August 23, 2008 Would you sit in the cinema for 6 hours to watch a film thats exactly as the book? Bear in mind they would have to double the price of admission, too. :p
Jake Durron 23 Posted August 23, 2008 Most def! I would sit in the theatre for a run of the entire series.
Andy 60 Posted August 24, 2008 Rather you than me :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 25, 2008 I would totally sit through an entire movie, no matter how long it was, if it was a direct reflection of the book. It would be friggin incredible!!
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted August 25, 2008 same here.
Chickenman 9 Posted August 28, 2008 I'd try, but then I'd only have to get up to go to the bathroom. "Damn you, bladder! Thou hast betrayed me again!" :p
Princess 35 Posted September 3, 2008 Just get some depends Chicken. Or a catheter...
Ender 8 Posted September 13, 2008 Don't listen to her, John. Catheters are the evilest device ever made. They are Satan in plastic form... *shudders at memory*
Ana 15 Posted July 9, 2011 Speaking of all eight movies... well, they decided to only show two a night. Monday thru midnight Thursday at select AMC Theaters. Guess who's already got her tickets. So I either won't be around next week, or I'll be on, but on my phone, from the line.
Ayingel 24 Posted July 10, 2011 Yeah, the Mall of America is doing that...they did an all day marathon for the first part, but making it two days for the second. I wonder if we're catering breakfast again... By the way, have you guys heard the fan theory going around? That Neville is really the hero?
Jake Durron 23 Posted July 11, 2011 ... Have you never read the books????!?!?!?!!?! O_o *pets Neville.* I suppose I should buy my damned ticket if I'm going to see it at midnight.
Andy 60 Posted July 12, 2011 I've never read the books either. I have the first four, but I saw the first film and decided to watch them all before I read the books, since I'm sure the books will be better (they always are) and I wouldn't want to ruin the films by having them not live up to expectation. ;)
Andy 60 Posted July 14, 2011 I'd just like to say... 6 hours! :D
