Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted December 28, 2008 i ended up with mostly cash, so i've been out shopping. we really splurged on the dog. got her a bed for in her crate, a Gentle Leader head collar (i have a completely different dog on the leash now), and the best $12 ever spent: the Buster Cube (obviously, not my dog). basically, you put the dry kibble in the cube, give it a good shake to disperse said kibble, and the dog has to chase and flip it around to get the food out. so now, she gets to use up some of that Beagle energy, gets to use her brain, and gets fed all at the same time. she also got some flavored candy cane chew toys that she absolutely adores, and a Kong bone (another treat dispensing toy), although i don't think she likes that one as much. the other night i bought some wood staining supplies so i can finally stain my nightstand. also ordered a couple books i've been wanting and a doggy nail file thing. hopefully she tolerates it more than the clippers since it takes both Rob and i to hold her down when it's nail clipping time. if it doesn't work, i'm shelling out the $10 or so to have the pros at PetSmart do it for me. i think next week sometime, i'm going to hit some clothing stores and see about getting more jeans, work pants and skirts/dresses. And, she also painted the garage at her house, where I'll be moving soon, half Avalanche, half Broncos. It is SOOOOO awesome!!
