Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted May 15, 2010 *grabs a Bothan Burger and a KDES BE* Closed and archived the other cantina. In other news, deep cleaning the dishwasher and handwashing every dish in the house was not how I wanted to spend my Saturday. >.<
Bad furday 57 Posted May 15, 2010 *has a Wookiee sized Blue Milk, and a Bothan burger* You know...I've always wondered what animal Aunt Beru milked, to get the blue milk from? And do not say a blue cow :p

James the Defender 7 Posted May 16, 2010 *grabs a coffee and Corellia's it up* Good morning! We went to Gettysburg, PA yesterday. Had a great time! I feel so refreshed! A nice day out was just what I needed! A week form today, my wife and I will be out ton the Delaware Bay, drum fishing. I hope it's beautiful out there. Something else really cool. A guy comes into work last week and had a had on that said, "Loran Security Services." Face has a security company, :p
Drake 53 Posted May 16, 2010 Ah, the first new cantina page. The only time when anyone actually orders anything from the menu. :p

Bad furday 57 Posted May 16, 2010 They've canceled tonite's truck, so 3 overnights in a row becomes one every other day. Which works out much better *drinks*

James the Defender 7 Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) I haven't seen it. Is it more historically inaccurate than normal, Ender? Edited May 17, 2010 by James the Defender

Princess 35 Posted May 18, 2010 I haven't seen it. Is it more historically inaccurate than normal, Ender? They were saying on the radio last week that it was more of the setting up of Robin Hood's history

Mara 29 Posted May 18, 2010 I haven't seen it. Is it more historically inaccurate than normal, Ender? They were saying on the radio last week that it was more of the setting up of Robin Hood's history Yeah, it's more of a prequel. Though I doubt it'll have a sequel. And I don't care whether it's historically accurate or not; it was highly enjoyable.
Drake 53 Posted May 18, 2010 Not as good as Gladiator but I liked it nonetheless.
James the Defender 7 Posted May 19, 2010 I haven't seen it. Historical accuracy is a must for me. I understand Hollywood takes liberties to make it more interesting and to make money--after all, it's a business--but some things they need to get correct. If they're way off base, everyone will run around thinking everything in movies like Braveheart and Kingdom of Heaven was correct and actually happened in that manner. I agree some liberties need to be taken to make it entertaining, but, come one! Someone can't make just anything up on the vague description of a historical event. Suddenly, the Normans have Howitzers at the Battle of Hastings (I'm exaggerating, but you get my point.) History is alive! Don't change it! *dismounts from his high horse, exhales, and orders a Lomin*
Ender 8 Posted May 19, 2010 It's just... Russell Crowe is not and never will be a convincing Robin Hood. Robin Hood is a swashbuckling, witty rebel. This one should be titled "Maximus From Gladiator Goes To England." Besides the fact that they killed King Richard, it's just not a worthy part of the legend.
