Pandora 77 Posted July 2, 2011 Geeze I did. I just spent 16 straight hours on the road following Dad back from Tampa. I can officially free-hand paint the back of a Penske truck from memory. Wanna know what's between Tampa and Tallahassee? -Lots of squarshed armadillos. Know what's between Tallahassee and Montgomery? -A big chrome chicken. Know what's between Montgomery and Birmingham? -Abso-freaking-lutely nothing. Know what's between Birminham and Tupelo? -Three remarkable billboards, in this order (and my reaction): "Where will you spend eternity? www.avoidsatan.com" (hehehe... okay I'm morbidly curious...); "God bless America- Love it or leave it" (Okay I can get into this); and a GREAT BIG white billboard with black and red letters and a red devil painted on it "GO TO CHURCH OR YOU'RE GOING TO HELL!!!" (What the! I want my Pagan ass OUT of Alabama! Quick! Think like a Protestant!) Wanna know what's between Tupelo and Memphis? -About 180 miles of the crappiest highway I have EVER driven on.
