She's been looking for something for about a year and a half now, and hasn't had any luck so far, except for a month-long parttime job and no calls after a couple interviews. I am not looking forward to having to learn to draw blood on kids Be prepared to require at least 4 adults to hold them down. One of the times that I was in the hospital, I was in pretty rough shape and the phlebotomist was someone that I considered a friend and she had to poke me 4 times, finally getting enough blood out of the veins in the side of my foot Gotcha beat there. I did a scan on a lady once and it took 8 of us (all of whom tried at least twice) over an hour to get an IV. Next time, she had a port. Good luck getting 4, you may be lucky enough to get one or two. And NEVER let parents hold...that never goes well. I think I have you beat, JM. Had a 2 yo we stuck 22 times for a PIV after he coded one time. (He used to code ALOT). He eventually got a port once they decided not to let him go...
