Princess 35 Posted May 3, 2013 So, if you're soaking gummy bears in vodka, what's the proper gummy bear to vodka ratio?
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) I guess that would depend on if you want to taste more vodka or more gummi bears. In other news, today sucks. :( Edited May 3, 2013 by Radioactive Isotope
Pandora 77 Posted May 3, 2013 There needs to be enough Vodka to cover the gummy bears. The more you have and the longer they soak, the fatter they get. And on the bright side, if you put "too much" vodka (haha right) in the bowl, you can always just drink the excess. :)
Bad furday 57 Posted May 3, 2013 Wouldn't you also have to know how much vodka a gummy bear by itself could absorb, and then measure accordingly...I think? Math is hard...and so was chemistry. Let's get one of those chemistry majors to figure out the formula....JM, get in here, we need your help! In other news, I'm considering getting a pair of those Duluth Trading pants for work....does anyone have experience with those? :p

Just dump it all in there and see what happens. :p
Pandora 77 Posted May 3, 2013 I'm telling you, there is no downside to that. Just drink what doesn't absorb. And what the hell are Duluth trading pants????
Bad furday 57 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) They're work pants that are tougher than normal pants, if their website is to be believed. Got my eye on these... http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/mens/mens-pants/work-pants-for-men/59311.aspx FIne.....*drinks* :p Edited May 3, 2013 by Bad furday
Pandora 77 Posted May 3, 2013 Oh. Stylish Dickies. Or Wranglers. Geeze. Save $20 and get a pair of Wranglers.
Bad furday 57 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) Does Wranglers make anything other than jeans? I hate wearing jeans edit: I haz checked out those Dickies on their website....those could work! Hopefully, they'll last longer than my normal cargo pants that I bought from Kohls...which ironically, working at the K hole has destroyed those pants... Also, I said it already somewhere, but on last night's Big Bang Theory....they actually did real, actual SCIENCE!!!! Edited May 3, 2013 by Bad furday
Ayingel 24 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) Prin - Cover the bears and let them soak for a day at most. And Furday, Duluth Trading Co? Props. *fist bump* Edited May 4, 2013 by Ayingel

Princess 35 Posted May 4, 2013 Not getting the ballroom jeans?
Bad furday 57 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) I don't like jeans. Though maybe, the reason I don't care for jeans is because there is no ballroom... Hmmmm... *Ponders* Edited May 4, 2013 by Bad furday

Pandora 77 Posted May 24, 2013 Good luck! Be prepared for a loooooooooooong wait. The hiring process is, without a doubt, an unmitigated disaster. The red tape even has red tape. But those Vets are so worth it.
Princess 35 Posted May 24, 2013 Well somehow I think I managed to upload my resume twice in the application process. Hope that doesn't harm me.
Pandora 77 Posted May 24, 2013 Probably not. But expect the whole thing to take several months if you're hired.
Princess 35 Posted May 24, 2013 Thanks. I emailed the person listed as the contact and explained what happened. I'm really hoping to get this because they're "restructuring" at work and I need to fight to keep my job against someone who sleeps and doesn't do their job
