Ayingel 24 Posted November 9, 2013 An open casting call sheet from Disney has been posted and has people speculating if this is for the next movie in the Star Wars seriesDisney has posted details about an open casting call for two young characters (male and female) with vague background details, and will be holding auditions throughout the UK. The fact that J.J. Abrams is directing and the roles are vague is leading to speculation that this could be for Episode 7 (as the last time the director had a similar listing, he was secretly casting his film Super 8.) Studio has neither confirmed nor denied that these auditions are for Episode 7, and Star Wars has a history of casting relative unknowns for their movies, so the chances could be pretty good that this is indeed for the film.The descriptions of the characters have people speculating how the film is going to involve the characters.SEEKING YOUNG WOMAN TO PLAY 17-18 YEAR OLD. Bad furday 57 Posted November 10, 2013 On the Rebel Force Radio podcast, they were theorizing that maybe, the "Thomas" character is the son of Han and Leia, and ( due to the line "without a father's influence" , not "without a father") we learn that Han left Leia and "Thomas", as he just couldn't adapt well to married life, and that maybe part of the storyline is "Thomas" needing to venture into the galaxy's seedy side to find his father for some plot point or other. Maybe the Falcon could be a surprise carry over (besides the droids and, as we've heard from casting rumors, Chewie) from the original trilogy. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It's for the role of "Rachel" and "Thomas". Ayingel 24 Posted November 15, 2013 Or maybe, Thomas and Rachel are just what they're calling any male or female so that they can cast multiple people for different roles without anyone knowing who they will be until after the disclosure agreement is signed.
