Andy 60 Posted December 10, 2016 I can't believe Rogue One has come around so fast.
Mara 29 Posted December 13, 2016 Me either.. And I cannot believe how excited I actually am, haha.
Andy 60 Posted December 13, 2016 I'm probably going to miss the first week because it's a busy time if year, but we're planning to go as soon as possible.
Mara 29 Posted December 15, 2016 And I just finished Catalyst the other day, which just made me more eager, LOL.
Andy 60 Posted December 15, 2016 Oh, I really need to read some of the new novels.
Mara 29 Posted December 16, 2016 *runs around* IT WAS SO GOOD!
Andy 60 Posted December 16, 2016 I don't think I'll get to see it until next week.
Darth Nemesis 1 Posted December 16, 2016 I'm seeing it Tuesday myself actually. Local theater does a 5 dollar discount day so a friend and I are going to go together to check it out. Had a chance to listen to the score on Spotify today and it is actually very nicely done.
Mara 29 Posted December 17, 2016 I'm hoping to go see it a second time. There are so many things (i.e. cameos), it's hard to take it all in at once. A repeat viewing is necessary. (Because apparently I missed a couple of them...)
Andy 60 Posted December 19, 2016 Screen Rant has posted an article about the trailer moments missing from the final cut. Contains spoilers! http://screenrant.com/star-wars-rogue-one-trailer-moments-things-not-in-the-movie/
Mara 29 Posted December 24, 2016 That happens with most movies though; trailers are usually made before the final cut.
Andy 60 Posted December 24, 2016 Yeah, I've still not seen it! :O
Mara 29 Posted December 24, 2016 (edited) What kind of fan are you!? I might go again on Monday, since I have off work. (And I have a free ticket on my rewards card so I can see it free, muwaha). Edited December 24, 2016 by Mara
Andy 60 Posted December 24, 2016 I know right. I've just not had time, what with Christmas and work and everything.
Andy 60 Posted January 17, 2017 Well I have finally seen Rogue One! I thoroughly enjoyed it, and the spoilers I had read didn't detract from my enjoyment either. There were still a few surprises in there. I didn't find the CGI face transplants too jarring, I thought there were very well done.

I mean, at first Tarkin startled me, but then I got used to it. I was more impressed with the actor getting Peter's voice right.
Andy 60 Posted April 12, 2017 (edited) Somebody I know is currently ranting about Tarkin in Rogue One, saying it was extremely distasteful and it's ruined the entire franchise for him. Says he won't be able to watch A New Hope any more because of it, and he's not going to bother with the new ones. I'm staying out of it. TheUnknown 39 Posted May 2, 2017 Finally watched it. So good.
Mara 29 Posted May 4, 2017 Yay! It is good... Battle of Scarif is probably the most epic SW battle so far.
Andy 60 Posted May 7, 2017 Got the Blu-ray and rewatched it the other night. Still amazing.
Mara 29 Posted May 27, 2017 I re-watched it for Star Wars Day Week. Not on blu-ray though. But agreed, still epic.
