Andy 60 Posted March 14, 2018 So, apparently there is a "silent movie" version of TLJ Check out @rianjohnson’s Tweet: https://twitter.com/rianjohnson/status/973667151956594688?s=
Mara 29 Posted March 17, 2018 Yeah I saw that! Too bad it's only available through the digital or the blu-ray versions.
Andy 60 Posted March 17, 2018 Ah, yeah I guess it'd be awkward to fit into a DVD version unless they did an extra disc.
Mara 29 Posted March 18, 2018 Yeah. And apparently you have to install an (free) app to access it, too. From Rian's twitter: The one hoop you have to jump through to get it: get the Movies Anywhere app and link whatever account you bought the movie with to it. It’s free, it works pretty painlessly. Kinda a pain I know, but I think it’s worth it to get this version.
Mara 29 Posted March 29, 2018 So according to Laura Dern, and the big-shots at Lucasfilm, and the backstory they had discussed (but wasn't in the film) ... Holdo is (was) Force-sensitive.
Andy 60 Posted March 29, 2018 Interesting, I wonder if they'll explore that in the novels? I have yet to read any of the new ones.
Mara 29 Posted March 31, 2018 Well, the only novel I've read Holdo in is Leia: Princess of Aldearaan, and it's sort of a backstory of how they meet when they're around 16. And I don't remember anything in there lol. Here is a link to the article though: http://ew.com/movies/2018/03/27/laura-dern-admiral-holdo-last-jedi-force-sensitive/
Andy 60 Posted February 16, 2019 I just really fancied rewatching The Last Jedi, and have realised to my horror that I don't have it yet. Awkward. ?
Mara 29 Posted February 21, 2019 Whoops. I want to rewatch it too, but I'm saving it for May 4th (so far).
Andy 60 Posted February 22, 2019 Going to have a marathon? ?
Mara 29 Posted February 27, 2019 Probably not... might just watch one or two. Want to watch Solo again as well.
